I can help you with price/turnaround time quotes and other questions most effectively if I have some basic information about your project. In your email to tday@katharosediting.com, please include the following:

• Your name
• A short description of your project
• The length in double-spaced pages for standard format or words for non-standard format
• What service you're interested in
• The date/time when you need it back, if you have a deadline; if you don't have a deadline, let me know that too. I may be able to finish short projects by the next day, but I require at least 24 hours' notice.

If you need something edited right away, it will be easier for me to get it back to you ASAP if you attach the document to your initial email. (This is also helpful if you're requesting an estimate; I can make a more accurate estimate if I can see the writing.)

If you have a long manuscript and would like to see my work before committing, I can edit a few pages of your text as a free sample.

I prefer that you send your work in a file format MS Word can open, such as .doc or .rtf. I can also edit OpenOffice documents, PowerPoint presentations, and Adobe InDesign files if necessary. I can mark changes in PDF files, but they can't be directly edited.

All documents submitted to katharos for editing remain confidential; because editing is "work for hire," all rights to the material belong to the client.
