Regular rate: $1.50/page ($15 minimum)
Rush rate (turnaround in less than 24 hours): $3/page ($15 minimum)

These rates only apply to PDF proofs of books, e-books, magazines, etc. that have already been copy edited and laid out/typeset. Proofreading is intended to catch typographical errors, formatting/layout problems, and any small things the copy editor may have missed.

I can check the proofs against the original text and the style sheet, then enter corrections and queries using the commenting and markup tools in Adobe Acrobat and return the files to you by email.

Please note: This is generally a service for publishers rather than writers. If you're a writer with a manuscript or document that needs grammar and style corrections, what you need is copy editing.

If you send me a PDF that is not a proof (or if it's evident that the text has not been copy edited), the electronic copy editing rates will apply.
